Bal Aarogya has undertaken a Project of training 120 rural girls in a village in Tailoring, Embroidery, Beauty–culture, Hygiene, Education, Personality Development, Discipline, entertainment, Prayer, Meditation, etc. The objective of this project is to shape young girls to become responsible Wives and Mothers in the course of time, apart from being self-supporting and independent financially. This project is on the lines of objective of our Honorable Prime Minister, to make India, “Aatmnirbhar Bharat” and also ‘Empowerment of Women’. Lunched at Village Kauhin, Distt. Shahjahanpur UP.

The syllabus for the Sewing Training Program includes teaching of 10 different hand stitching sewing methods, stitching of various types of garments including shirts, skirts, blouses, trousers, shalwar, baby dresses and altering and modifications of various garments in addition to improving and enhancing qualities of head & heart.

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

 

  1. To train 120 rural girls in cutting tailoring embroidery etc. during 2021-22.
  2. Building has been constructed for this purpose with all facilities like electricity, toilets, etc.
  3. 20 Sewing Machines have been procured for providing on job training.
  4. Duration of training will be 4 months.
  5. This will provide them self-confidence and feeling of self-reliant to eventually lead to ‘Women Empowerment’.
  6. Apart from skill-training, they will also be taught personal hygiene, general cleanliness, personality development, entertainment, yoga, meditation etc.
  7. Focus will be to make them a good ‘wife’, good ‘mother’ and good citizen in the course of time.
  8. For this purpose, 20 Sewing machines have already been procured along with accessories.
  9. Two Teachers and one Administrator (girls) have been identified.
  10. Classes have already started since February 2021.
  11. They have been given uniforms to give them a sense of pride and dignity.
  12. They will be given Tea and refreshment daily.
  13. The training program is FREE of any charge.
  14. There will be Attendance daily.
  15. Girls belong to different strata of society and communities.
  16. This will also give them a sense of Working "Together".
  17. They will be given certificate on completion of training program.
  18. The first batch has already passed out in June 2021 and the second batch of 40 girls has started.
